Please take the time to read about our amazing Staff members. They are extremely professional and children focused. Our staff members have years of combined experience in gymnastics, cheerleading, dance, mixed martial arts and ninja.
I began coaching with East Coast in May of 2021, first with ninja and then started into gymnastics. I really enjoy working at East Coast because I am able to not only show the kids how to do certain obstacles and skills, but also to instruct them on how to do them properly is very fulfilling. When they take the lessons and apply them, so that they finally beat an obstacle or do a skill successfully, is very rewarding.
My goal is to pass down the skills I’ve been taught to my students and help them become their best selves. I was so proud when I taught a student and he would become the best one on his team.

I love working at East Coast because of the environment and all the people are great to work with and the kids too. I am hoping that as a coach I can help the kids get better and teach them new skills every time they come back. One of my proudest coaching moments, was when I taught one of my students how to do the warp wall and he got it the first day he was there.
While in high school, Sam decided to share her love of gymnastics with the younger generation. She began coaching recreational team at 14 before coaching Levels 8 – Elite in college. After graduating college with a Masters in Elementary Education, Sam returned to Winchester to work as an elementary teacher and to coach at East Coast Gymnastics. She has coached multiple levels and has extensive experience choreographing routines, as well as training coaches.
Sam took a break from coaching to take on the role of instructional coach for her school and to have 2 sons, Malakai and Micah. Back from her hiatus, she is having a great time coaching kids of all ages and levels. Outside of having a true love and dedication for the sport of gymnastics, she has since gained her administrator license and works as Assistant Principal for Daniel Morgan Intermediate School.
Right now I’m on a path to become a teacher and I love using my knowledge from the school day with my students at gymnastics. I love to incorporate learning into gymnastics to make it fun! I love being involved with teaching and coaching because it enables me to be a difference in a child’s life.
East Coast has an amazing environment that provides for every type of student. I believe East Coast is making a huge difference by believing in every child and helping them grow.
I helped open East Coast Christian Academy in 2021 and it has been the best move of my career so far! The students and families I work with are caring, eager to learn, and supportive!
Along the way, I have learned from several Olympians and World Champions. I am also a judge for T&T. My love for coaching gymnastics, T&T, and cheer began at age 14 and it has grown ever since. My passion is working with kids and I can live that out here at East Coast!
East Coast has given me the opportunity to combine my two favorite things gymnastics and working with children and for that I am forever grateful. I look forward to meeting and working with you all.
